Who is it for?

Anyone who would like to try their hand at public speaking in a comedic way.

This course can help everyone from people who want some new inspiration for their business presentations or those who find the whole process of talking about themselves nerve- wracking.

Whether you are preparing for the next rung on the ladder, looking to spice up your networking interactions or just want some time to focus on how to sell yourself then this is the workshop for you. Angie is also in demand to run the course in schools, universities and the voluntary sector.

What will you be doing?

The day will consist of games, exercises and psychological theory to help you bring your unique personality, experience and charisma to the stage. Above all the day will inspire you to be a better and more confident communicator.  The workshop aims to be fun and practical as well as giving you a new found love of talking about your work. Everyone will get a chance to write and present their set as well as receiving personal feedback. All participants get an accompanying theory guide too, which explains the models used during the day. Angie also has a 45 minute lecture on public speaking for your conference, festival or event.

Angie is all about energy, ideas and enthusiasm but it’s not just about her warm passionate personality; there is a depth of understanding of both the subject matter and the people she is working with that make her a very effective coach and facilitator.
— Paul Goring, CEO Consortio
I was extremely impressed by her presentation and running of the day. She inspired, encouraged and appropriately challenged us to personally express what our brands stood for and helped us communicate this effectively. I would definitely recommend the course for people wanting to explore how they offer what they do and particularly Angie’s excellent facilitation and training
— Jonathon Watkins, CEO Photoglow Photography
Angie came and delivered a stand-up comedy workshop at Millfield to staff and students. Angie gave us all really useful and detailed feedback after our 5 minute sets which was both encouraging and constructive. The group felt inspired afterwards and ready to develop their work ready for our comedy night! I highly recommend Angie and hope to have her back regularly from now on!
— Kirsten Lane, Lead teacher, Drama, Millfield Senior School
A workshop that provided students with a range of skills and techniques associated with Stand up Comedy, the students enjoyed the opportunity to do something a little bit different and unusual and then used those skills in an assessed BTEC Variety performance
— Beccy Thunhurst, Programme Leader for Drama and Performing Arts, City Academy-Bristol
Student feedback has been unanimously indicated that this has been highly beneficial in developing our student’s presentation skills at real company interviews
— Simon Dove, Placements Officer University of Gloucestershire
